The more information you have to offer, such as how you want to use your space, specific features you’d like, or how much time you have for maintenance, the better we can provide you with a custom landscape that matches your vision.

Retaining Walls
RETAINING WALLS HOLD SOIL IN PLACE
Retaining walls prevent soil from moving or eroding. If your landscape changes drastically in elevation, a retaining wall is often necessary for stability and to support leveled spaces behind it.
Many factors are considered in the installation of retaining walls. Material options vary in aesthetics and cost. Landscape block is a popular choice, and our walls are constructed with best practices in mind, in preparation of our region’s rainy seasons. 18-24” of drain rock is installed behind the wall along with a 4” perforated drain pipe. Landscape fabric is used to control erosion.
For slight slopes or for a more natural look, large boulders and rock outcroppings are installed to hold back soil and to organize space on sloped land. Plants that spill over retaining walls and rocks help to soften edges and provide contrasting color.

Irrigation Installation & Repair
CONSISTENT WATERING IS ESSENTIAL FOR A HEALTHY LAWN AND LANDSCAPE
We install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems to ensure that your residential or commercial landscape receives sufficient water throughout the growing season. We strive to provide you with the most effective irrigation system.
We can upgrade or redesign an existing system. For new installations, only the highest-performing parts are used and we guarantee all parts for one year. All piping is buried at least 12” deep into the ground. Valve boxes are set level and square and filled with drain rock to keep the box clean and to prevent soil intrusion. Timers are carefully installed and programmed.
In the spring, we can audit your system, checking for breaks or damage, and activate it. In the fall, we offer irrigation winterization – known as a “blow-out” – to prevent water from freezing inside your system. In regions like the Pacific Northwest where frost levels often extend beyond irrigation piping, this service is crucial in preventing damage to internal components that results in costly repairs in the spring.

Water Features

Moving water creates ambient sounds that calm our senses and mask noise from nearby traffic or neighbors. Other benefits of water features include an elevated sense of calm and relaxation, and having your own outdoor space to retreat from everyday stress. In addition to their natural beauty, water features attract wildlife such as birds and butterflies.
We work with your vision to choose the right location for your water feature. Rocks and boulders are carefully selected for aesthetic value. Special consideration is taken when selecting plants to complement your unique water feature.
